So what’s with the exclamation point and the derogative term for this established company?
Oh well, they said that PayPal will not cause so much hassle in receiving money.
Quite the contrary, for weeks now I haven’t received my $60 dollar money over PayPal.
Why?
Because they won’t let me link to my debit card, which is a BPI card. And they can’t send it to Western Union. So what i did was i sent it to my office mate, which has PayPal account too.
But, but, but, even she had the same problems too. Their bank was having trouble linking their account to Paypal and 2 weeks has passed with only letters and empty promises from PayPal and their bank.
Godddammit, we didn’t signed up to experience hassles from hell.

I get to review my last posting, which was posted last Saturday, and to my horror, the title was senseless. So I immediately edited it today and went to my morning ritual – checking out job ads sites for new job postings.
Saturday was both fun and disastrous. After attending to two toddlers here at work (Ate Jean and I brought along our kids – Kyla , 5 and Isheen, 4), I collapsed in my bed immediately as I feel exhausted from the heat outside. Tremendous heat here in the Philippines is the number one sign that it’s indeed summer time. So back with my weekend. I just dozed off when Mine called to say he’s on his way to visit me. So, I napped for another 30 minutes or so before attending to my precious loved ones. How sweet. Lolz.
However, the day didn’t went smoothly as expected. My daughter cried all her might in fear that she endangered a baby in a way or another. She was playing with my niece, EJ, who’s turning 1 year, in her crib, when she tried to erect upright the baby. However, since EJ can’t stand on her own yet, she feel backwards, and in shock, let out a screaming cry. Kyla was frightened and cried too, in fear that she’ll be scolded and that something bad happened to EJ. I have to carry her to get her home to calm her down and tell her the same that she should never try anything on EJ again. She got my point and promised not to repeat that mistake again.
But as we all know, kids are kids. The second incident happened just outside our door where she got a cola bottle broken. After that, I was furious and told her to stay put. I had a short fuse that day, contributed by stress and tiredness.
Nevertheless, I tried not to be grumpy and make my child feel bad. So I put her to bed and stayed until she fell asleep. It’s important that I’m there when she’s sleepy. I noticed that she sleeps well and fuss-free whenever I join her in bed and watch her sleep. It’s my goal to do it more often, to get back to that habit we have when I was still in school. Ü
Sunday was action-packed and emotion-driven day. First, I dropped off Kyla at my Dad’s and then went with Mine for Pulung Santol Town Fiesta in Porac, Pampanga. We first went to their house to rest for a few minutes and then went off to the barrio where his folks are. Food is great, although I can barely eat because I was sort of nervous and half the time I’m eating, the power is out. I can’t stand the heat and had to eat quickly. After that, Mine brought me to the living room area to talk to her Grandma and Aunts. His folks are fun and good people. He slipped away to have a couple of drinks with the male members of his family. However, due to heat, he got intoxicated easily. I have to send an SMS to him that I’m dizzy so that we could go. It’s one thing that you accompany a drunk guy, another thing is how to keep him looking sane when he is indeed drunk.
When we reached their house, he dozed off effortlessly and I was about to leave him like that, if only his dad didn’t texted him that he would go home. I tried everything to wake him up, but the only thing that did woke him up was his phone ringing.
So the day went on watching TV until his friends asked him to come with them. A drinking session again. I was not really keen to go with him, but as I know Philippine fiestas are plagued by riots, caused by drunken people. So I accompanied him, with a condition not to get drunk. The deal was on, so we went to his friends and had good time listening to their stories.
It was midnight when we came back, tired and all. I fell asleep immediately as I hit the bunk bed and dozed off to my merry dreams.

I am actually having second thoughts in posting this article because:
a) I don’t have enough guts
b) In the back of my mind, there is this itchy thought that it might not happen.
But then again, there could be no harm in trying. So, here it is.
I want to graduate college this coming May 10 but the catch is, I’m having problems financially. I only have 3 units left to be a candidate for graduation and some other subjects that needs completion (I’m sure I’ll pass them.) The problem is, I’m running out of time to accumulate the money I need. I will need a rough $375 dollars to cover all the expenses – to be able to wear that black toga and get my undergrad degree.
You might say, “Why don’t you ask your parents?”. And here is the answer: My parents cannot support me anymore, because I have 4 other siblings, another one on its way and the budget is very tight.
Anyway, I’m not asking for a loan or donation. What I have in mind is rendering my service to you for a $5 fee (it can be a one time help only, but if you will like the way I work, you can hire me. Ü). It sounds cheap, but I badly need the money.
So here’s what can I do:
Data Entry
Virtual Assistance
Blogging
Article Writer (not a pro, but I have writing backgrounds)
Web Development (nothing fancy yet)
Please if you know someone that needs help related to what I’ve mentioned above, refer me to them.
Thank you so much!!

Disclaimer: This is an unofficial list of work-from-home opportunities. The only reason that I am reposting such links is to help others look for work easily, without going thru numerous postings on other sites.
Considering the reason why I have my current day stint, this is the nicest thing I can think of to pay back. I got this job because I Googled it and saw the craigslist posting. And as a Virtual Assistant at night, I have seen the impact that work-from-home jobs can do in a person’s life.
Of course, with every opportunity comes responsibility. Virtual jobs are more than just typing and surfing, it requires a person to think uniquely, out of the box to gain satisfactory results.
Just think of this setting: you earn at the comfort of your home, most of the time you set your own schedule and set your own pace.
Why don’t you give it a try? On your spare time, try to look for the things you love to do that others are willing to pay for.
Remember, you don’t have to pay anything to gain something. Any job offers that will require you to pay a pre-registration fee or something like that – is more likely a scam.
Take my night stint as an example: I got a week’s payment in advance, even before my employer sent his instructions for job. I’m not saying that all of employers do the same thing, but if they’re really serious and genuine about their job offer – then you should be at least assured in a way that you’ll get the pay.
But what if – worst case scenario – you don’t get paid? You can do numerous things about that. If you saw that job ad over online classified ads, you can report that member so that the site will take necessary actions. You might not get the compensation, but you have saved others from being goofed.
And don’t hesitate to ask. Always ask when you are not sure what to do, unless your employer specified that your job is to make decisions and take necessary actions. Miscommunication is the number one hindrance why some work-from-home stints are unsuccessful.
I’m not an expert yet, but from what I have experienced, excellent communication skills is one thing that you should have. And of course, that dare-devil attitude, willing to take risks, undaunted to sail unchartered courses.
And as my finale, here are some work-from-home opportunities for people willing to try.
Take note, I do not guarantee that these jobs are for real. It will be your decision if you’ll go for it.
Happy Searching!

I’ve never imagined I would actually stay long in my day stint. “Why?”, you may ask.
First – politics, gossips, dangerous, and unideal workplace is all right here.
Second – daily tasks are scattered.
Third – every payday, I’m thinking if I’ll get it or not. lolz
…and there’s still a lot more.
But, deep inside I know I’m loving it. Because it let me do what I do best – research, write and find things needed. I’m a self proclaimed researcher. Here, I’m learning everyday how to do Search Engine Optimization, advertise efficiently on the Web, that forum mods are not actually idiots, and that I’m more like becoming a spammer if I won’t be creative, game development – and a lot more that is out of my league.
Yes, I’ve background in Information Technology, but when I started in this work, I’ve realized that I’m a newbie on how it works – in real life.
Also, that Americans can have bad grammars – and that men are really boys – no matter what age.
AND, $20,000 is possible in these days. It exists.
NIGHT JOB
Oh, cmon. Don’t give me that quizzical look.
My night job (night here, but daytime there – whatever) started a week after I got my day job. *grins*
At first, I’m just posting ads somewhere out there (virtually, of course). I have to confess that it’s good money and it’s addictive. Maybe because I got it from Friendster, where I usually answer surveys and stuff like that and repost them. But in here, I don’t just do it. I reconstruct it at times to make sure that it won’t get flagged, deleted and sometimes, wait for days to pass by before reposting.
And my boss is quite impressed that I can do it in a blink of an eye. Of course, its an exaggeration.
And in between these stints, keeping a daughter, a man and minding problems, I still find some precious hours to play DoTA.
Rediscovering the game was fun. I was saved from smirking faces that I saw when I first tried playing that game. I’ve realized that it’s addictive, that’s why I only play it when someone is around so that someone will call me if I’m too mesmerized in playing.
By the way, I play as Akasha or Lina Inverse.
Once a gamer, always a gamer. Yeah. But not as in everyday. Duh. Sayang ang dollars per hour noh. Haha!
M-M-Monster Kill!!!
I feel so, what’s the word? Pressured would be an understatement. So for that person who’s always there – this is for you.
Even though you don’t know about my blog.
Sometimes I wonder
How I’d ever make it through,
Through this world without having you
I just wouldn’t have a clue
‘Cause sometimes it seems
Like this world’s closing in on me,
And there’s no way of breaking free
And then I see you reach for me
Sometimes I wanna give up
I wanna give in,
I wanna quit the fight
And then I see you, baby
And everything’s alright,
everything’s alright
When I see you smile
I can face the world, oh oh,
you know I can do anything
When I see you smile
I see a ray of light, oh oh,
I see it shining right through the rain
When I see you smile
Oh yeah, baby when I see you smile at me
Baby there’s nothing in this world
that could ever do
What a touch of your hand can do
It’s like nothing that I ever knew
And when the rain is falling
I don’t feel it,
’cause you’re here with me now
And one look at you baby
Is all I’ll ever need,
you’re all I’ll ever need
Chorus
Sometimes I wanna give up
I wanna give in,
I wanna quit the fight
And then I see you baby
And everything’s alright,
everything’s alright
So right…
